Every human emotion is awoke I watch many movies, and was inspired by the beautiful talented Mitzi, who broke out of her Reservation Owl Island and "thrive" in the city, somewhere in Canada as a uniquely Hat designer. When her Mother's heath declines Mitzi is summoned by her Father home. She then finds home in her soul. .. See more 05/20/2021 Beautiful film with great music and sound. The setting begins in an urban area and shifts to a remote island when Mitzi Bearclaw, an aspiring artist with great ambition, is called home by her father to help take care of her ill mother. All of the characters are pitch perfect with emotional depth. The relationships are complex. The tensions are real, relatable, and there is also humor. The story asks the question - does going home to a small remote location remove me from the world I desire? can I hold on to my dreams of being a maker? There is so much here to appreciate. It's a love story but also a story about holding on the dreams. Applause!! See more 05/03/2021 Great indigenous indie film! Totally worth a few bucks to stream it.
