While there's an over-reliance on montage and the film still can't make us invest in Elle & Noah as a couple, it's leaps and bounds better than the book, thanks to Joey King's committed performance and the addition of Taylor Zakhar Perez.

What is it with every most wanted guys all being into literally the painfully, abnormally stunted personality of hers? And they are all twice her size. Nothing Noah says clears his side now because everything involving Chloe gives such a wrong and awful vibe—the one single thing they are left to do is physically cheat. I mean, why again is Noah into her? Very the-summer-I-turned-prettyish. For God's sake Elle is so dense. No sane self-respecting girl would have had half as much patience as Rachel. That's entirely on Flynn though.
