A meek, bespectacled woman in her mid-20s, for six months she has been feeding top secret government documents to her boyfriend Dieter. Unknown to her, Dieter is a Stasi agent working deep undercover in West Germany. As she is pulled deeper and deeper into this web of lies, Sophie believes that Dieter is selling this information for money. Once they have DM 1.000.000, they will run away together, or so that's the plan. On the day of the escape, however, she is captured...
