I wouldn't get into the show because it's only had one season, which doesn't make sense, because this was a really great show. But then the powers that be, wouldn't want to encourage a show about girls who woke up with power SMH What a shame I've been waiting but I guess we'll never know what happens next.

I find it quite interesting, even though the Nigerian plot wasn’t properly represented. Why play a Brenda Fassie song (south African) while trying to portray Nigeria?. Even the Nigerian casts didn’t sound Nigerian. The producers should’ve done their homework better. Other than that, not bad

Incredible plot, fantastic script and actors. Chilling how close it hits as a female spectator. This series is absolutely beautiful and I truly hope we get another season or two.

I thought the themes within this show were so intriguing and important to raise as they challenge societal structures. It covered a range of different stories woven cleverly together and I'm desperate to see season 2.

I really enjoyed this adaptation! Great performances! And the series was able to expand on some of the issues I had in the book. Really hope there’s a second season! Definitely worth watching! 4.5 stars
