Learning how much of this is not true, the producers and Netflix should not be permitted to make it seem like it resembles the real events or even call it Unabomber. It’s misleading and wrong. At least add a disclaimer scroll in large front saying this is mostly fiction.

So boring and slow. Couldn’t even sit through it. Tried to just fast forward to good parts but there were none. So I just shut it off. It literally went nowhere.

To claim this movie is "based on true events" is a stretch. Yes there was an abusive experiment at Harvard conducted by Murray, but it was nothing like what was portrayed in the movie. The real experiment with the Unabomber lasted 3 years, not 3 sessions! The experiment spent many sessions building up Ted K; tearing him down only later. Murray also lied to Ted K's mother to obtain her consent -- he did not disclose the true nature of the experiment. No evidence Ted K pushed back/argued with Murray or sent phony letters to him. He was too shy/withdrawn. Although Murray had previously worked for the OSS/CIA, there is no evidence the CIA funded this particular experiment. Murray was obviously wrong to conduct this experiment, but the movie does not do justice to his otherwise impressive career. He had a big ego (but was not a blowhard) and would not have cared what some obscure professor at Tulane thought of him. Ted K's own brother denies that Murray "created" the Unabomber.

I in disbelief T THE LOW SCORE FROM rotten Tomatoes and may no longer trust the ratings. I found this movie riveting which is more than I can say about most movies plus the "acting chops" by Russel Crowe and Shailene Woodly as well as the young man that plays the Unabomber. Am Iliving in a different universe. This movie was great!
