From the very first episode, the show creates an atmosphere of pure dread that never lets up. What makes it so amazing is how it balances genuine, terrifying horror with a deep mystery that keeps you theorizing for days. The concept of a town you can't leave is chilling enough, but the creatures and the "rules" of the world make it truly unique. The acting is top-tier (Harold Perrineau is incredible), and every episode leaves you desperate for answers. It’s dark, unpredictable, and easily one of the most creative series I’ve seen in years. If you haven't started it yet, do yourself a favor and dive in—just make sure you're inside before sundown See more O O @Pali-man 3h This season has been incredibly slow and pointless. alot of plot filler and pointless conversations that I believe they included just to make for an exciting final 5th season. unfortunately this comes at the cost of turning the audience away from the show and its lacking story engagement. Cheers See more prawnda S @RT72497680 20h oh great, another season. maybe something will almost happen at the end of the season but not actually happen again! watching b and c list actors ad lib filler arguments for episode after episode is exactly what audiences want, apparently. it's even worse than lost was about just making it up as they go along, and they similarly have no actual lore or backstory to lead up to. it's not surprising they are able to rope people in for so many episodes or seasons, but the 5 star reviews are more than a little disappointing. anyone who finds this interesting or realistically/poignantly dramatic is in need of a therapist.
