It feels too short and seems awkward in its attempt to introduce a larger narrative that doesn’t seem to have a resolution. Kevronius T. @KDoggTheRottenator 3h What it gets right: Jon Berenthal. And action. LOTS of action in a very condensed runtime. What it gets wrong: Frank had a son too. It forgets about him, save a 2-shot wordless flashback. Typical of Disney. Everything is too brightly lit, and not stylized at all. The cinematography has no life if its own. On FILM, this would've looked 3X more amazing. Done this way, it merely looks acceptable. The choice by Disney to fold it into the Marvel universe feels puzzling. Sure, action can be exciting, but here the whole plot seemed built around scenes of people constantly taking each other out, and that nonstop cycle of brutality ended up being the core of the story.
