An action-packed thriller where five ballerinas, on their way to a prestigious dance competition, are barely on speaking terms when their bus breaks down in a remote forest. With no other options, they reluctantly seek shelter at an unsettling roadside inn run by Devora Kasimer (Uma Thurman), a reclusive former ballet prodigy. Mostly, it’s just a whimper of a movie that ends in painfully anticlimactic fashion. Its only saving grace is that my daughters got a nice crash course in a so-bad-it’s-sometimes-good-but-still-mostly-bad movie.

The girls were annoying, and the first few fight scenes were decent. That last fight scene was horrific! Horrible choreography, and horrible acting. Ziegler needs to stay off the big screen

"Pretty Lethal" has some action scenes that were genuinely a lot of fun. I think the concept of ballerinas being great at fighting is unique and interesting. I just feel the movie has essentially no character development and just jumps right into the main story. I found it hard to get invested in the story because of this, and the stakes were very surface-level. I still think there is some commendable stuff here, and those looking for a violent and entertaining movie may find something here. Overall, it is a movie that has some good qualities, but there isn't enough to go out of my way to recommend it to even genre fans.

This was such a fun watch. Recommend for something silly, campy, easy and enjoyable that won't make you think too hard, with a lot of impressively choreographed action scenes. My one and only note is that Bones and Princess didn't kiss at the end.

I thought the movie Pretty Lethal was really good overall. It kept me interested the whole time with its mix of action and drama, and the story felt engaging without dragging. The pacing worked well, and there were plenty of moments that made it exciting to watch. One of the biggest highlights for me was Maddie Ziegler. I think she really excelled in this role and showed a lot of growth as an actress. Her performance felt strong and believable, and she carried her scenes with confidence. It’s clear she’s developing into a serious talent, and this role really helped her stand out.
