It is still generous with the blood-letting, the headshots, the bone breaks and the brutality. That makes it distinct in the generally sanitised MCU as an adult drama that not looking to play nice.

The legal elements are capably developed and work well, and Season 2 builds toward a stunner of a conclusion. The entire cast turns in exceptional performances, with Cox, D'Onofrio, and Woll giving some of their best yet.

Season 1 was kind of slow, but I still liked it. However, season 2 took off like a bat out of hell. The story telling is off the chain. I can't wait to see where it ends up. Fisk is unraveling before our eyes and the Defenders are coming together. It is all keeping me at the edge of my seat.

Watched the first season and was let down. Was really hoping Disney would fix their issues and go back to good story telling. Nope… reviews on here may be good, but nobody is watching this to put into a top 10 ratings. They can’t recreate the magic that Netflix brought. Can’t wait for my wife to get done with this series so I can do something more enjoyable like scraping my fingernails on a chalkboard.

I can see why MAGA hate this, it's a reflection of the world we live in. Superbly acted, and very well paced. Best Daredevil since the first season.

They moved away from the Netflix tight-knit vibe and killed someone off; they shouldn't. pacing problems, gets boring real quick. Adding new boring characters that add nothing and are not fun to watch. Weird edits of someone dressed as a puppet Fisk and weird, random NYC interviews/shots at random buildings, it's a big turn-off IMO. Only one of the episodes felt like I was watching the Netflix version in season 2. I hope they can take their time with season 3 and fix these problems. We only wanted it to feel like the Netilx version. They have not updated the choreography for the fights; it feels like we're having the same fight with the same people.

Dull and boring, and ultimately very safe and predictable. The main protagonist is basically a guest in his own show. Instead all the focus goes to an orbit of side characters that eat up most of the screen time. Horrible pacing too. Night and day comparison to the netflix series which was very dynamic and had daredevil square centered in the story.
