Katherin T. @kesty 48m This series started really strong. There was a growing sense of dread and mystery. However, once the curse was revealed, the show began to quickly fall into boring, long-winded arguments and vent sessions. It was disappointing and the ending left me frustrated and unsatisfied. I did appreciate seeing a horror series built around the act of marriage, but ultimately, this series just should have been a movie. See more Pia D @Inorelin 1h I really liked the first 3 episodes. Things were creepy and intense feeling of dread. Once they reveal what is happening and start over explaining things that don't matter much it stops being scary and becomes annoying. They should have established and give us some nice rules and lore of the world but instead they focused on weird relationship issues. This had great potential with the creepy feeling of dread but they basically toss that out the window after the starting episodes. I’m not sure whether or not I was disappointed with the ending. I’m not sure that it was meant to be as comical as I thought it was in parts. I give it 4 bananas. See more Tara D @RT27219896 7h Look, I had high hopes for this but the first several episodes dragged terribly and the ending you saw coming from a mile away. There were possible opportunities for a great twist with the guy's family also being evil with her picture appearing in the portrait that were not capitalized on. Zero charisma between the lead actors, tons of unnecessary talking and dialogue which dragged out the boredom, terrible acting, and of course the Netflix promised DEI gay scene.
