In short, Cross’s sophomore season is a triumph that strengthens audience investment in the series as well as in Hodge’s continual portrayal of the complex detective. Go to Full Review

Hodge remains a righteous leading man, but the set-up of the new season, with a billionaire being pursued by a merciless killer, is close to boilerplate. Go to Full Review

Aldis Hodge comes back like gangbusters with his definitive take on detective Alex Cross, but the series still can’t figure out to be as killer good as he is. Go to Full Review

Right now, it is watchable and engaging, but it still owes the audience a stronger punch. Go to Full Review

If there's one thing I can say in favor of Cross Season 2, it's that it puts a lot more effort into fleshing out its supporting cast than Season 1 did. Go to Full Review

PARTS G @RT62956329 1d Thoroughly entertaining with a few Emmy level performances. Some of y'all are losing your minds because the lead is a black man. Psssst - you racism is showing! lol See more Kenny K @RT40371202 1d This is just sad and shameful. Exhibit A for the downfall of the entertainment industry. The fact that this got renewed for season 3... the fact that this has a 95% on RT... I mean, that all has to be a joke right? If I'm running Amazon, 3 or 4 of the actors get second chances because it's not their fault. EVERYONE else is getting fired and never again will work on another show of mine. The viewership was high because audiences love watching a dumpster fire burn. I could ramble 100 bullet points off the top of my head without skipping a beat to prove just how senseless and lame the season 2 story and writing was. Not that season 1 was much better, but at least it was watchable enough to come back for season 2. But seriously, someone at Amazon actually witnessed this entire season 2 mess, then renewed this for season 3? I hope it has a brand new group of writers, directors, and show runners, otherwise we're in for another disaster that everyone's too afraid to say bad things about SMH See more Greg M. @RT71392693 Mar 23 Awesome, even better than 1st season and it was amazing. See more Michell L. @Bella007 Mar 21 I loved season two of Cross. I’m glad it’s being renewed for a third season. I made sure I watched each episode as soon as it was released. It was very entertaining. Full of action. See more Toya G @Octavioust21 Mar 21 STANDING OVATION to this CAST!!! Jeanine Mason completely dominated this entire season!!! OBSESSED!!!! Was so happy to she Josh Peck and how he ended up being one of the good ones!!! My teenage heart 💙! Of course Aldis Hodge delivered a great performance like he did the previous season and now we can’t wait to see season three!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 See more Yung T @Yungdastar Mar 20 I actually like this season. a little bit of pandering but it kept me interested.
