Judy Berman TIME Magazine Mar 27
Creators Nick Keetch and Ty Freer give their stars plenty more to work with, from the Marvins’ chaotic upbringing to their skeptical reception, as sweaty American hucksters halfway around the globe from home. Go to Full Review
Daniel Fienberg The Hollywood Reporter Mar 12
The two American stars, the reason for Hulu to be giving this one a push, are both very good, using their respective comic personae to humorous effect but not schtick. Go to Full Review

Sunny Nights really gains steam in its last installment, dropping some surprises and setting the stage for a promising new chapter, one with no doubt the same reliable banter but hopefully tighter plotting. Go to Full Review
Chris Revelle Pajiba Mar 18
It’s all good, dark fun, and the cast is uniformly excellent. Forte is in his element, Cardin could power an entire city with her energy. Go to Full Review

4/5
Casting old-pro comics like Will Forte and D'Arcy Carden in this oddball crime drama is either a curveball or a stroke of genius, because audiences come for laughs but stay for the bizarro mayhem. Go to Full Review
Joel Keller Decider Mar 12
While not hilarious, Sunny Nights works because of Carden’s performance, the premise’s clash of sensibilities, and its ability to give viewers a glimpse at Sydney’s seedier side. Go to Full Review

Nick T @RT31774478 Mar 28 I couldn't disagree more with Joel Keller about Sunny Nights not being hilarious. Just this afternoon I bumped into a woman in the elevator in my building and recommended it to her, and 'hilarious' was precisely the word I used. I also just Googled Dark City: The Cleaner, and discovered, to my immense relief, that there is, apparently, going to be another season of that too. What is it about Australians that enables them to do this black comedy stuff so well? And can it be bottled? For export? To my country, Canada? Please? See more Sabrina L @cinechick Mar 20 Okay - this show is really fun and addicting. The writing is smart, the jokes hit, the production value is great and the acting blew me away. After all the twists and turns in this story, I'm literally on the edge of my seat --- when is season 2???? See more Eric G @RT94759424 Mar 20 Why didn’t this show get more publicity? It’s one of the best I’ve seen in a while. D’Arcy Carden and Megan Lilly Wilding are especially stellar. Love it. See more Dana J. @Danared Mar 17 I am ALL in on this one! Had me from the opening scene and Will and D”Arcy’s comedic chemistry is off the charts! The perfect blend of dark comedy and crime. If you loved BARRY you will LOVE SUNNY NIGHTS!! See more Samantha M @RT08305647 Mar 16 i was into it. for 16 minutes. the cast is full of great actors.. comedy-drama situations are usually too far fetched to catch my interest.. blackmail is so far from my reality that once they went out for breakfast and the thug arrived, i remember getting up from my seat and going to make a sandwich and forgetting about the show entirely until i returned to the room to snatch my phone. See more Vicki Z @RT03667214 Mar 14 It’s decently written and pretty well acted. Hope it gets renewed. See more Read all reviews
