The seventh season of Virgin River isn’t doing much more than keeping the story moving at the pace it set back in its first season in 2019. Sylvia A @RT14266725 3d Nothing really happens. There are some story lines that are completely unnecessary and add no value (Charmaine and Preacher). Then it feels they are also dragging some other story lines with no purpose (Brie/Mike/Brady), like they can’t decide what they want. And the main characters of the story just go to Mexico for no reason. I wish they followed a little more of the book plots and focused on a few good stories each season. The dialogue is the same for every situation. "No matter what happens, we'll always have each other." "Yes, we'll always have one another's back." "We've been through so much, and we've only grown closer." "And we'll continue to grow closer because we care so much." What drivel! I don't know how they're able to deliver these lines without busting up. Maybe the fact that they can say those words while gazing lovingly into one another's eyes ad nauseam is a tribute to their talent. The entire show has become trite and silly. Good thing happens.
