It’s the maddest, most original thing I’ve seen in ages. Go to Full Review

Despite some interest in examining the issue of violence against women through the prism of the psychological thriller, Coldwater ends up rushed and schlocky. Go to Full Review

The taut way in which Ireland mixes believable domesticity with moments of almost grand guignol horror, alongside the excellent ensemble performances, mean the reins are held tightly enough to make this bold and ballsy show just about work. Go to Full Review

There’s a lot of entertaining weirdness going on in Coldwater, so much so that the problems we have with the characters and plotting might end up being overridden by it. So, even if the show isn’t all that good, it might still be fun to watch. Go to Full Review

Between the characters and the atmosphere, it's hard not to get sucked into the creepy whirlwind of murder and mayhem that resides in this seemingly quaint town. Go to Full Review

Coldwater is the kind of thriller that keeps you in a chokehold from the opening moments of the first episode, and refuses to let go until the end. By the end, you’ll be left struggling to breathe… and that’s just where creator David Ireland wants you. Go to Full Review

David C @cal1780 Mar 19 It has some good actors in it but the storyline was appallingly weak. I was actually glad when it was over. Indira Varma, Ewen Bremner and Eve Myles all let themselves down by just being in it. I couldnt work out whether Rebecca was supposed to be a participant enabler to Tommy or a victim. The fact that right at the end she appears to suddenly turn into a victim just didnt wash. Those awful houses with their dreadful interior decor was enough to put me off on its own. Plus Tommy and Rebecca's front lawn with a clump of pampas grass in a tub. Where I come from pampas grass is a noxious weed! See more Captain P @RevRuss Feb 16 Just finished episode six and I must say that this was an amazing series! Will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something new and original to watch. Andrew Lincoln and Ewen Bremner put on A+ performances, and I can't wait to see them work together again! I think the best way to put it is I look forward to seeing each new episode because the storyline is going crazy See more Jaz S @MrsStevenson Jan 29 Terrible plot, terrible ending do not waste your time watching this. Had to create a rotten tomatoes account for The first time just to rate how bad this is was. See more James L. @RT02598884 Jan 27 What a total waste of time. See more Read all reviews
