Manuel Y @Macbatmanuel Mar 1 The plot holes are huge and the characters have cookie cutter personalities. Action scenes are the classic "good guy is awesome and bad guys never land a shot it organize themselves". It’s really bad. The action scenes, which are praised by the critics, are completely like a video game. If a guy is shooting a gun 100 meters away, no bad guys react, it’s actually quite funny if you are in it for a laugh. The whole plot is about these two idiot Americans (I guess they are portrayed as Delta Force, but for some reason the writers make them look really dumb… probably bad execution). I rescue that the Colombian authorities look great, very professional, but they end up doing the "saving the day" thing all the time, with the Americans being super arrogant and aloof. The plot gets lost many times, the end of each episode barely makes you want to watch the next one and in general there is so much that could be improved with small changes on the script. See more Kyle G @kylegrantham Feb 15 There are moments where Echo 3 is an interesting, almost pseudo-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare streamer. And then there are moments, which outnumber those by a large margin, that the show is complete nonsense. I don't want to spoil anything, but when you get to the end of a 10-hour story and you're mostly just annoyed with all the characters, and wonder why entire episodes even happened if they had no real impact on the plot, it's a failure of the writing, acting and direction. See more Slick R @SlickReviewer Dec 6 The Latina journalist lady is annoying. So is the main kidnapped lady Amber. Black CIA dude wasn't much help, he should have been able to at least get them disguises or prosthetics+. The non-stop flashbacks by Amber while she is going crazy is especially annoying.
