It takes an episode or two for The Game to find its rhythm, but once it does, it becomes a nice little pressure cooker. Go to Full Review

While we’re unsure if the twists and turns in The Game are going to be good or stupid, we’re still interested in how Huw is able to hold onto his family while playing this cat-and-mouse game with Patrick. Go to Full Review

... The Game is still a lively diversion with solid entertainment value, an excellent cast, heartily on-the-nose clichés, and moments of unsettling tension. Go to Full Review

It's not his best 5 drama - but no one is better at playing an anxious man in over his head. Go to Full Review

Robson, an actor who is never happier than when showing off his flirty twinkle, is perfectly cast as the smirking newcomer who just might be a psychopath. Go to Full Review

Gloria C @RT19256418 Feb 22 It’s very hard to believe that the Huw character was ever a competent cop. He does everything wrong, very little makes any sense. His coworkers all seemed to think that he was a bumbling idiot, that became clear in the first episode. I did feel the need though to watch all very long 4 episodes. But my excuse is that I’m sick on the couch and also nodded off a few times from all the excitement. See more GG P @GGPanini Jan 27 This show really pissed me off! First & foremost the main character Huw is supposed to be a competent police officer & yet he acts like an incompetent, bumbling moron! Also I absolutely hated his wife & daughter, which treated him no different than he acted, like a fumbling idiot child. Like if you've ever wanted to see what an imasculated man looks like, watch this show. They bowled over him & he just took it, stand up for yourself man! It was actually quite pathetic & what's crazy is this could've really been a great show but whomever wrote these characters did a horrible job! Even after Huw was arrested he acted like someone who had absolutely zero police knowledge of the process or how things worked? The acting was bad & just all around unbelievable, & I'm upset I wasted so much time watching it. See more Baelzar t @Baelzar Jan 25 This show was an exercise in torture. The main character, who was supposedly a great cop, is an unbelievably pathetic childish bumbling idiot. Makes every possible mistake. A whirlwind of stupidity. I can only be glad it was 4 episodes instead of more. Painful. See more Susan M @Smiley109 Jan 24 Why do they make Huw so slow and sometimes stupid. Frustrated the criminal Patrick seems cleaver and cops slow and never ask good questions. I wanted to like it but…. See more Carol B. @funding Jan 24 Amazing, suspenseful story! Loved the actors. I hope they make a sequel! See more E B @RT14396790 Jan 20 A terrific cast doing their best with an improbable storyline, inconsistent characterizations, baffling timelines and totally unbelievable decisons by the characters.
