The show held on to the franchise’s core idea that there exists in the universe a constant tension between good and evil. But it boldly interrogated the origins of that dichotomy, focusing on what pushes someone to adopt one set of beliefs over another. Go to Full Review

Making Cassian the main focus would obscure the show’s larger point about free societies being hustled off a cliff by mass complacency, facilitated by falsehoods. Go to Full Review

An ambitious, spectacular, poignant, emotionally crushing and very timely season that not only cements this show as the best “Star Wars” story, but also one of the best TV shows of the decade. Go to Full Review

Forget it’s a Star War; it’s no good-versus-evil pageant … instead it dramatises ordinary people’s political struggles with an empathy that bruises the heart it captivates. … A heartening polemic for a time right now, in a galaxy near, near here. Go to Full Review

Simply put, one of the greatest television series ever made. A beautiful and necessary mediation on revolution and what it truly means. Epic on every level. Go to Full Review

Diego Luna’s “Andor” is at its best when it’s critiquing authoritarianism, reflecting and skewering today’s MAGA politics. Go to Full Review

Conrad C @sosopoptart 2h Still a gem among Star Wars shows and movies for its focus on the smaller stories in a galaxy far, far away. This season moves from building up its characters to building up the rebellion. There are some slow bits in there and some plotlines I cared for less than others, but the whole is a great in-depth look at what it takes to start something like what you see when Luke shows up on Yavin in "A New Hope." See more Alex H. @ComradeAlex 21h One of the only two shows I’ve ever been compelled to write a review for. What an outstanding series. It’s not even fair to lump this with Star Wars because this is leagues above and beyond in every single way. I was hooked from the start and there were arcs I will carry with me for the rest of my life. The Aldhani plot-line was gorgeous. Nemik’s manifesto is burned into my brain. Mon Mothma is one of the most well-written and portrayed female characters I’ve ever seen. One of the most memorable moments is when she finally surrenders and dances to Niamos! after sacrificing her daughter to an arranged marriage to help fund the rebellion. Genevieve O’Reilly deserves all the awards. Diego Luna is incredibly talented. Stellan Skarsgard blew me away. Don’t even get me started on Denise Gough, never have I seen such a horrible fascist woman played so perfectly. The entire show is a warning for what could happen and what is already happening. The Ghorman Massacre looks incredibly familiar, doesn’t it? Palpatine’s “cabinet” planning and executing the destruction of an entire sovereign planet sounds familiar, doesn’t it? I have nothing else to say other than this is utter perfection. See more Mike B. @sopinessanta 3d The serious side of the galaxy far far away is the best entry to Star Wars since the original trilogy. Season 1 was great, season 2 is even better. See more Barsnobs @Barsnobs 3d Some of the best TV ever. A classic star wars show. Add this to the top of the list of A New Hope, Empire, Sith and Rogue One. It's a must watch. Much more action packed than season 1 and believe it or not, even more well written too! I wish the Gilroys stay in SW and continue to help write some of the newer entries. See more P W @SentimentalValue14 4d My favorite Star Wars content since the Original Trilogy. From the writing, to the actors/characters, editing, visuals - superb. Gripping and relevant in current times. See more Timothy B. @tsbarc90 6d The first 3 episodes of season 2 are nearly impossible to get through . Id recommen just watching the first episode to get a feel for the story. For episode 2 and 3 just read or watch recap and pick it up at episode 4. If you are like me, the first few episodes are enough to make you stop watching this season for good. That would be a mistake because it actually does get more interesting. See more Read all reviews
