“Boots” isn’t a perfect show, but it’s a sweet story with its heart in the right place and plenty to say. Go to Full Review

I’m sure the discipline of training works for some people’s psychology, but Cope is so naïve and the show is so unwilling to build toward a larger critique that Boots comes off as propaganda. Go to Full Review

Boots inevitably dramatizes one big paradoxical fact about military life: It’s innately a very homoerotic environment, but perforce a homophobic one Go to Full Review

Boots doesn’t just entertain – it opens a door. It reminds that sometimes the loudest battles happen in silence. That surviving the system doesn’t mean it didn’t leave marks. Go to Full Review

Becky G @RT90591662 4d I held off on watching this because I thought it might be cliché, but I now realize that I shouldn't have trusted that marketing take. Boots is a wildly simple, chaotic, thoughtful trip, relatable and relevant, and Sony needs to shop and ship season 2 somewhere else. Netflix is foolish to let it go. See more Sebastian Teody G @sebastianteodyg Mar 2 beautiful story telling See more Benjamin K @bsuzgaksns Feb 26 One of the best shows I have seen this year. A must-watch See more Stefano P @prince17 Feb 22 A truly remarkable journey of personal growth. The series is very well written, with well-crafted characters and strong characterization throughout. The show manages to convey that unique sense of camaraderie that only those who have lived through similar experiences can truly understand. The LGBTQ themes are thoughtfully balanced and integrated into the narrative without ever feeling forced or overpowering the main storyline. It is madness that it was not renewed. I sincerely hope Netflix reconsiders — or that another platform picks it up, because a second season feels absolutely necessary. See more Evan Z. @RT90120612 Feb 2 A heartfelt tale of becoming a man, navigating the struggles of boot camp while subsequently trying to understand his own personality and how that fits in within his new journey. There will be tears, pain, laughter, and happiness. In the end, watching these people develop an unbreakable bond is truly special and worth a watch.
