One miraculous day in rural Wisconsin, the recently deceased suddenly return to life. But these are not zombies, as the "revived" appear and behave just as they did before. As the mystery of this phenomenon fuels unrest, Dana Cypress, a down-on-her-luck and crass police officer and single mother, is thrust into a peculiar murder investigation-one where the murder victim is now alive, and everyone, whether living or revived, is a suspect.

Series creators Luke Boyce and Aaron B. Koontz build on the tantalising mysteries across the 10-episode run and as someone who wasn’t aware of the comics, I was never sure of where things were heading.

Started of promising, then just got worse with each episode. Very poor storytelling, trying to keep the audience interested with the last 5 minutes of each episode giving you a reason to watch the next episode, only for it to be worse than the last. On top of that they continue to have all the female as strong, independent women, whilst the males are either useless or a complete a..hole. I thought we were getting past that crap.

The surprise TV hit of 2025 has all the humor, mystery and even sharp actions in a genre-bending sci-fi whodunit that leads audience in and out of a rabbit hole without deteriorating into schlock. Visually arresting with social commentary from different angles. Add good acting performances to character roles with witty dialogs, its one of the best shows in 2025.

The show starts off strong but then takes a nosedive into a canyon of bizarre, totally unrelatable decision-making. Most characters behave like they’re in a competition for "Worst Idea of the Week," and "Em" is definitely gunning for the trophy. Melanie Scrofano does her absolute best and pretty much carries the whole thing on her back, but even she can’t haul the show—or its writing—out of the deep pit of mediocrity it enthusiastically jumps into.

The show kept me interested from the start! Its not great but its not bad either! I look forward to a second season! I also did not know that there was a comic book in which this show is based on! Now i want to read the comics! In my opinion it is a good show. Its worth the watch

This show has an interesting concept after an investigation begins when people in a town revive with regenerative powers, including a police officer's murdered sister. Unfortunately, with poor acting and a lot of suspended disbelief, the show failed to execute this promising plot for immortality.
